The 24-man delegation, sub-divided into 3 working groups, led by the President of U.S.A-Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Dr Gaston MBONGLOU, is in for an extensive outlook investment in trade relations between Cameroon and the U.S.A

During discussions, the different delegates made known their investment area of interests in sectors like Agriculture, Healthcare, Energy, Security and Higher Education, but then were eager to know about some success stories between Cameroon and other investors. The Minister used this occasion to quickly introduce the delegation to one of Cameroon’s foreign Partners trading in Cement manufacturing.

Regarding the geopolitical situation of Cameroon, the minister elaborates our favourable condition which accounts for a steady market of over 300million consumers; thereby attesting Cameroon as business-friendly.

At the end of the talks, Mr Luc Magloire MBARGA ATANGANA called the attention of the delegation to Cameroon’s 1990 Law which allows for the liberalisation of trade. It is for this reason that the Head of State is encouraging partnership with other states, thus, making Cameroon eligible for AGOA. The Minister therefore urged the delegation to go into partnership with Cameroon for the realisation of common dreams.
