It is through the third edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum that are held from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai. Luc Magloire MBARGA Atangana, Minister of Trade, attended this November 04, 2020 by videoconference in the conference room of his ministerial department at the opening ceremony of these events.

It is the largest import exhibition in the world that allows countries around the world to strengthen cooperation, promote the common prosperity of the world economy and trade. The International Exhibition on the import of China also allows foreign companies to expand the facilities in the Chinese market through the display of their products, the popularization of their brands and also the search for commercial partnerships.

In a context marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, the world economy should decline by 4% according to the deputy director of the World Trade Organization (WTO), thus imposing solidarity, cooperation and action between states. It is therefore necessary to pool efforts in order to give impetus to the recovery of World Trade.
