The international Agribusiness Summit scheduled for Cameroon on 11 and 12 November 2020 will have the theme: "feeding Africa by 2035 through agriculture, industry and trade ". Sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, it will have the participation of many ministerial departments. According to its organizers, it is necessary to invest in Agriculture to transform the Cameroonian economy .Using technology to promote sustainable development that takes into account the protection of the environment.
The appointment that will take place in the form of videoconference, in the Cameroonian capital next week, is an opportunity for young people. They will benefit from training in the agricultural sector taking into account the nature of the soil and the use of natural fertilizers. According to Lawrence Schaefer Owner / founder of Global Management LLC of Virginia, USA, " the summit is of paramount importance to discuss the importance of Agribusiness for Cameroon .This country loses billions of FCFA through imports per year. The trend could be reversed through the development of local production. Seen from the outside this country is different, on the spot, we discover something else, people have to make the trip to come and see the reality. Come and see Cameroon in sub-Saharan Africa, it is full of untapped natural resources ".
The various parties also discussed investment opportunities in aquaculture. "The vision of the Minister of trade is to support the meritorious efforts made by the Cameroonian diaspora in the framework of supporting development and access to food self-sufficiency in Cameroon and the surrounding countries" said Jean Jacques Njoh Ewane president and founder of Africa Marketing Agency one of the organizers .According to his statements, the contribution of the diaspora will have to translate into the return of knowledge, knowledge and, the support of investors from abroad to Cameroon ,the drainage of support and development aid funds put by powerful states for Africa .
The main axes of the topics discussed at the hearing also revolved around the contribution of investments, the opening of the facilitation of the Ministry of Trade in the context of welcoming investors.
